My goal is to translate an artist's vision into a perceptible image.
I turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.
Creative ideas become photographic realities that evoke a desirable emotional response from the viewer.
“I know I have done my best work when no one notices what I have done.”
Whatever the project, it will be handled with the utmost in professionalism, quality and attention to detail.
Is it real? Or is it The Photoshop Guy?
Randy Galligan, The Photoshop Guy, has been a Photoshop retouching and compositing artist for the last 18 years.
Randy began his career as the Ship’s Photographer aboard the nuclear submarine, USS Guitarro. Upon discharge from the US Navy, he attended Brooks Institute of Photography, in Santa Barbara, CA. He completed studies in color lab technology and shortly thereafter became the lab department head at a Los Angeles film processing firm.
Randy later opened a private custom lab catering to several well known photographers and art galleries who relied on the best in film processing and printing.
As the digital age approached, Randy explored the earliest versions of Adobe Photoshop as a way to offer clients creative freedom that was unheard of at the time.
A Photoshop master, Randy has worked with many internationally acclaimed clients, including a recent multi-million dollar national ad campaign for Wynn Resorts.
